1. Scope
This policy applies when you use this website, send an enquiry, request a quotation, or upload a drawing, CAD file or supporting document through a Technomech Engineers form.
2. Information we collect
Depending on what you submit, we may receive:
- Your name, company, email address and telephone number.
- Part category, annual volume, material, thickness, programme timing and other enquiry details.
- Drawings, CAD files, photographs, specifications and other technical documents that you choose to upload.
- Basic technical information generated when a website or form service processes a request, such as date, time and network or browser information.
3. How we use the information
We use submitted information to respond to your enquiry, assess manufacturing feasibility, prepare or discuss a quotation, coordinate an appropriate NDA or transfer channel, and maintain records connected with the enquiry or any resulting programme. We may also use it to protect the website and investigate suspected misuse.
4. Drawing and CAD-file handling
Access is limited to Technomech personnel who need the material for business development, engineering, production, quality or commercial review. We do not sell submitted contact data, drawings or technical files.
Files may be handled by service providers needed to receive, host, secure or process the enquiry. If an active NDA requires a named portal, encrypted channel or other specific procedure, contact us before uploading and use the agreed method instead.
5. Retention
We retain enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the quotation, programme, business record, security or applicable compliance requirement. You may request deletion, although we may need to retain limited records where a legal, contractual, customer or dispute-related requirement applies.
6. Service providers and processing locations
The website uses hosting and form-submission service providers, including Web3Forms for RFQ delivery. Information may therefore be processed in locations where those providers operate. They receive only the information needed to provide their services and are subject to their own security and privacy arrangements.
The website also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visitor activity — pages visited, approximate region and how visitors reached the site. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors, and it is not combined with RFQ or drawing information. You can block analytics with standard browser tools or extensions without affecting how the site works.
7. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures intended to protect submitted information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so highly sensitive or contract-controlled files should be transferred through the channel agreed with your Technomech contact.
8. Your choices and contact
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted, or withdraw consent for future handling where applicable. Contact:
